- The Queen has given Royal Assent to the Brexit bill, clearing the way for Theresa May to start talks to leave the European Union.

House of Lords
- The Prime Minister has approved the appointment of Lord Justice Fulford as the first Investigatory Powers Commissioner.
- The Scottish Parliament has marked 15th March 2017 Commonwealth Day, which included an address to MSPs by the Chair of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury MP, Speaker of the Bangladeshi Parliament.
Northern Ireland Assembly
Following the Northern Ireland Assembly election on the 2nd March, the assembly is awaiting the formation of a government.
This week the Members of the European Parliament will be based in Brussels for committee meetings.
