The Banking Comms Index uses Vuelio Media Monitoring and Analysis to measure the percentage Share of Voice of the top retail banking brands and selected challenger banks in Britain. The earned online media coverage all appears in curated Tier 1 national titles and financial trade publications.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the last index of 2021, it’s relatively unchanged at the top, though Halifax takes Nationwide’s place from last week as the other brand that benefits from house price stories. Natwest’s fine this week did lead to coverage but not high volumes of additional stories in these Tier 1 publications.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The stand out performer is Monzo, benefitting from coverage of its latest funding round of $500m that sees the challenger valued at $4.5bn and, almost as importantly, move up the Banking Comms Index, past Revolut for the first time since July.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
