Using the hashtag #AskEddie, Twitter users threw a variety of questions at him such as \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Adam_W48\/status\/884778486690435074\">Shall I have chicken fajitas tonight or chicken thai green curry<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SouthernRailUK\/status\/885138065433518082\">What biscuits would you suggest we get for our clients in our Business Lounge?<\/a>\u2019, but Eddie was ready for them all, with popular responses making him an internet sensation.<\/p>\n<p>Eddie\u2019s 15 minutes, which encompassed <a href=\"https:\/\/news.google.com\/news\/story\/dX0fyLsK3IWBOPMDH5YBWX_eKtJrM?hl=en&amp;ned=us\">national news coverage<\/a> and an interview on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b08wmm99\">Radio 1<\/a>, came to end on Wednesday, leaving Southern to deal with the usual complaints and grumblings (normal service has resumed).<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">2. Stormzy isn\u2019t Lukaku<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Herald in Ireland was subject to a sense of ire and mirth online when it somehow managed to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewBloch\/status\/884350258666512384\/photo\/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&amp;ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fnewsbeat%2Farticle%2F40556229%2Firish-newspaper-mistakes-stormzy-for-new-manchester-united-player-romelu-lukaku\">print a picture<\/a> of grime artist Stormzy alongside a story about Manchester United\u2019s new \u00a375m striker Romelu Lukaku. The mistake caused cries of racism from some and incompetence from others, while many unsurprisingly just found ways to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/commentisfree\/2017\/jul\/11\/stormzy-lukaku-n-word-irish-herald\">make jokes<\/a>. Andy Murray calls out \u2018casual\u2019 sexism<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Andy Murray crashed out of Wimbledon this week (along with fellow contenders Djokovic and Nadal) in the quarter finals. He still managed to find victory online though, through his post-match interview. Murray, stolid as ever, picked up a journalist\u2019s \u2018casual\u2019 sexism in a question that started, \u2018Sam [Querrey] is the first US player to reach a major semi-final since 2009\u2019, to which Murray quietly corrected him, \u2018male player\u2019. Among thousands of fans online, Murray\u2019s clearly proud mother Judy led the way on Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JudyMurray\/status\/885181694319484929\">commenting<\/a>: \u2018That\u2019s my boy\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QjOLhdx6lPI\" width=\"710\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">4. Winter is coming<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>For those that didn\u2019t know, and really where have you been?, Game of Thrones returns to UK screens on 17 July. Sky Atlantic is the place to catch Season 7 and to remind the public, Sky released a number of White Walkers across famous UK landmarks. With Jon Snow crowned King in the North, Cersei on the Iron Throne, Daenerys Targaryen and her colossal armada crossing the seven seas to Westeros and the Night King moving south at the helm of a truly terrifying army of the dead, the greatest battles are truly ahead of us.\u2019<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">5. Top 50 Blogs<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Vuelio has updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/social-media-index\/top-50-uk-blogs\/?clid=post\">Top 50 UK Blogs<\/a>, the country\u2019s most definitive guide to leading blogs. The methodology considers frequency of posting, social presence, Vuelio influencer score, traffic, the recentness of posts, currency and interaction from the blog\u2019s readers, creating a diverse collection of bloggers.
