While the tragedy continues to wreak havoc on American citizen\u2019s lives, the President failed to meet any victims<\/a> and the first Lady didn\u2019t know how to dress for the weather<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At least one brand has been drawn into the story for all the wrong reasons. A poorly timed email campaign from Airbnb offered accommodation in a \u2018Floating world\u2019, it went on to say, \u2018How to spend a day \u2013 or an entire trip \u2013 without touching dry land. Your next aquatic adventure starts here.\u2019 This negative story has overshadowed Airbnb\u2019s positive decision to waive its service fee in the Houston area so homeowners can list their properties for free and accommodate the displaced.<\/p>\n

2. Mark Zuckerberg\u2019s daughter August<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan wrote an open letter to their new-born daughter August this week. They encourage August to spend time outside and play with her sister Max; effectively opposing social media\u2019s main function. The post came after research into Facebook\u2019s dwindling teenage population suggests the platform may have already peaked.
