Antonia Ludden<\/a> is the Top 10 Interior Design Blogger<\/a> behind #tidylife<\/a>. Antonia was inspired to create her blog back in 2012 after following US bloggers and their DIY, home organising and d\u00e9cor blogs. We spoke to Antonia about transforming rooms, being inspired by bloggers and working with PRs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How would you describe your blog?<\/strong>
\n#tidylife is the place to discover all the latest UK home interior design trends and ideas, lush homeware and lifestyle inspiration.<\/p>\n

Why did you start your blog?<\/strong>
\nFive or six years ago, I\u00a0began searching for home improvement inspiration online\u00a0and was finding lots of blogs from the USA but not many equivalent UK blogs. So,\u00a0I thought I would give it a try myself.<\/p>\n

What<\/strong>\u2019<\/strong>s your favourite thing to blog about?
\n<\/strong>I love to style products and there’s also something exciting about revealing a finished project; I love a good \u2018before and after\u2019 when a room has been transformed and think readers enjoy that sort of thing too.<\/p>\n

How do you manage your photography?<\/strong>
\nI get reasonable pictures with my\u00a0Nikon \u2013 set to auto mostly, but would like to develop my\u00a0photography skills. I am considering working with a photographer in the future to produce some magazine-worthy shots.<\/p>\n

What<\/strong>\u2019<\/strong>s your favourite interior?<\/strong>
\nI like dark moody interiors<\/a> as well as light, bright modern spaces<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What or who are your biggest inspirations?<\/strong>
\nFellow bloggers and Instagrammers mainly.<\/p>\n

What makes your blog successful?<\/strong>
\nPerhaps because it has been going a while, I’ve been blogging consistently since 2012. \u00a0I also like to share achievable interiors and design inspiration on a budget, plus I am adding more lifestyle content at the weekends for something different.<\/p>\n

How do you like to work with PRs?<\/strong>
\nIt makes things so much easier when a PR is clear about their expectations. Getting a brief sent through with deadlines, social media hashtags to use etc. is really helpful.<\/p>\n

What one thing should PRs know about you?<\/strong>
\nI am flexible and open to creative ideas!<\/p>\n

What other blogs do you read?<\/strong>
\nThe first blog I discovered was IHeart Organizing<\/a> and I still like to look in on it from time to time.\u00a0I enjoy reading the blogs of people who have become friends through blogging and am starting to dip into\u00a0more beauty and fashion blogs as well as the home interior ones.<\/p>\n
