{"id":116482,"date":"2018-07-18T11:00:09","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T10:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/?p=116482"},"modified":"2018-07-18T14:27:07","modified_gmt":"2018-07-18T13:27:07","slug":"diversity-in-comms-webinar-pr-can-change-recruitment-processes-to-improve-diversity-says-kuldeep-mehmi-of-the-taylor-bennett-foundation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/diversity-in-comms-webinar-pr-can-change-recruitment-processes-to-improve-diversity-says-kuldeep-mehmi-of-the-taylor-bennett-foundation\/","title":{"rendered":"Diversity in Comms webinar: PR can change recruitment processes to improve diversity says Kuldeep Mehmi of the Taylor Bennett Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The PR and communications industry must change its approach if it wants to recruit people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, says Kuldeep Mehmi, a graduate of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.taylorbennettfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Bennett Foundation<\/a> and director at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fticonsulting-emea.com\/?rl=emea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FTI Consulting<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our recent webinar\u00a0<em>Diversity in Comms<\/em>,\u00a0highlighted the work of the foundation, which is the PRCA&#8217;s charity of the year. Kuldeep was our guest and he said: &#8216;I think that it is more of a question of how you attract your candidate base.
