The first time, Trump said the search engine had rigged results to the search \u2018Trump news\u2019, so that they were negative against him. He tweeted: \u201896% of results on \u201cTrump News\u201d are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google &amp; others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can &amp; cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>He also suggested his administration might regulate Google \u2013 though this would likely violate the first amendment (free speech).<\/p>\n<p>The second attack came with a tweeted video along with the hashtag #StopTheBias:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"und\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/StopTheBias?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#StopTheBias<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xqz599iQZw\">pic.twitter.com\/xqz599iQZw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/1034907478566359041?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 29, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The video shows how the Google homepage allegedly linked Obama\u2019s State of the Union address each year on its homepage but stopped when Trump came to power. Google hit back, saying that Trump\u2019s first speech had been to Congress and was therefore not a State of the Union address and also provided evidence that the video was not accurate, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/janelytvynenko\/trump-claims-google-didnt-promote-his-state-of-the-union\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported by BuzzFeed News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump attacking negative views, opinions and facts against him is nothing new. Trump attacking businesses and companies is nothing new. But the most powerful man in the world attacking the most powerful search engine in the world could change the face of the internet as we know it. Though actually, this will probably go nowhere \u2013 with the midterms on the horizon, Trump has bigger fish to fry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>2. A trio of bullying<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-117348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon.jpg\" alt=\"Now Magazine\" width=\"760\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon-705x399.jpg 705w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon-450x255.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Now-Stacey-Solomon-500x283.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/strong><\/span>Stacey Solomon, Tess Holliday and Kim Woodburn \u2013 all three are considered to have been publicly bullied this week.<\/p>\n<p>Stacey Solomon called out Now magazine for its cover, which used tweeted comments to describe her as \u2018boring\u2019, \u2018desperate\u2019 and \u2018cheap\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">That\u2019s the meanest thing I\u2019ve ever seen. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/celebsnow?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@celebsnow<\/a> &#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/k8KvuxyXjB\">pic.twitter.com\/k8KvuxyXjB<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Stacey Solomon (@StaceySolomon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StaceySolomon\/status\/1034557411036725249?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 28, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Solomon\u2019s response generated huge public support, leading to an apology from the magazine. However, this wasn\u2019t good enough for Solomon, who rejected the magazine\u2019s apology on Loose Women.<\/p>\n<p>In the second bullying story, Kim Woodburn appeared on Loose Women to \u2018reconcile\u2019 with Coleen Nolan after the pair fell out on Celebrity Big Brother. With Janet Street Porter playing \u2018judge\u2019, the pair argued and Woodburn left the set, leading to over 3,000 complaints of bullying against her to Ofcom.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Tess Holliday, plus-size model, has appeared on the front cover of Cosmopolitan in what many are calling a huge step forward for body positivity. Tess received a swathe of negative responses, which were widely shared on social media, so Cosmopolitan followed it up with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cosmopolitan.com\/uk\/fashion\/a22872539\/tess-holliday-cosmopolitan-magazine-cover-uk\/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;src=socialflowTW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a> titled: \u2018Why the feedback to our Tess Holliday shoot proves this is the magazine cover we all needed\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>3. WPP to appoint Mark Read as chief executive<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-117349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read.jpg\" alt=\"WPP\" width=\"760\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read-705x399.jpg 705w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read-450x255.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Mark-Read-500x283.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/strong><\/span>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/afed1fde-ac6e-11e8-89a1-e5de165fa619\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FT has reported<\/a> that that WPP is appointing Mark Read, currently co-chief operating officer at WPP, as its new permanent chief executive after deciding against an external appointment. Read has been in charge of WPP since April, when Sir Martin Sorrell resigned. His appointment has not been confirmed by WPP but could come as early as Tuesday when WPP reports its interim results, or later in September.<\/p>\n<p>The FT also reports that Roberto Quarta is expected to move back to a non-executive role, after he became executive chairman following Sorrell\u2019s resignation.<\/p>\n<p>In an April interview, Read said: \u2018The key task is to restore growth in the business and that is what we will focus on\u2019, though whether he can stave off competition from Google, Facebook AND Sorrell\u2019s new S4 Capital, while streamlining the unwieldy WPP, remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>4. Though this is down on last year\u2019s opening of 6.5m viewers, the programme managed to capture 57% of the 16-34 audience, making it the most-watched TV show for this age group in 2018 outside of the World Cup. That means it\u2019s more popular with \u2018young adults\u2019 than Love Island.<\/p>\n<p>Full consolidated viewing figures are yet to be released, but as more people now watch TV on demand or via catch-up, it\u2019s very possible the opening show will be more popular than it was in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of the content, the show stuck to a familiar format, though there was noticeably <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalspy.com\/tv\/great-british-bake-off\/news\/a864532\/great-british-bake-off-2018-channel-4-innuendo-stays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">less innuendo<\/a> from the days of Mel and Sue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>5.
