This is accompanied by additional energy content from the CIPR, in the shape of its Energy and Leadership Platform\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cipr.co.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/An%20Introduction%20to%20Energy%20PR%20%28reduced%29.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">An Introduction to Energy PR<\/a><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23PRPays&amp;src=typd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#PRPays<\/a> campaign aims to highlight the strategic value of public relations to the business community. The interview with trade association Energy UK follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/prpays-why-pr-is-vital-to-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first edition with Heathrow\u2019s CEO John Holland-Kaye. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Talking about the importance of PR to Energy UK and businesses in general, Slade is an advocate of well-organised PR teams whether it\u2019s working on the Energy Switch Guarantee, preparing the organisation for a crisis or dealing with the market post-Brexit.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the full interview here:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JRF6fxcZXJY\" width=\"760\" height=\"427\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This interview has been followed by the first publication from the recently formed thinktank the Energy and Leadership Platform. The guide is aimed at educating and inspiring PR and communication practitioners across the world to pursue a career in energy PR.<\/p>\n<p>It draws on the complexities of the sector and the fact that energy PR is not confined to just a few topics. The guide says: \u2018Energy communications is never just about oil or gas or power.
