Mark McAllister<\/strong> has been appointed as the new Chair of the Office for Nuclear Regulation, replacing Nick Baldwin on 1st<\/sup> April 2019 (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

David Fleming<\/strong>, Max Steinberg<\/strong> and Sarah Dean<\/strong> have been appointed as trustees of the National Museums Liverpool Board, each for a term of four years, commencing on 1st<\/sup> March 2019 (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Jeremy Penn<\/strong> and Mark Stanhope<\/strong> have been reappointed as trustees of the Royal Museums Greenwich, for a term of four years, commencing on 1st<\/sup> February 2019 (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Christopher Trott<\/strong> has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan. He will take up his role in May 2019 (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Cynthia Dubin<\/strong> has been appointed as non-executive director of the Competition and Markets Authority. Colleen Keck<\/strong>, Karthik Subramanya<\/strong>, Maria da Cunha<\/strong>, Paul Hughes<\/strong>, Robin Foster<\/strong> and Shrinivas Honap<\/strong> as panel members (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Wanda Goldway<\/strong> has been named Chair of the Financial Services Consumer Panel, for a three year term, commencing on 1st<\/sup> March 2019 (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Air Marshal Sue Gray<\/strong> has been appointed Director-General of the Defence Safety Authority (more info<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Angela Smith, Ann Coffey, Chris Leslie, Chuka Umunna, Gavin Shuker, Luciana Berger, Mike Gapes <\/strong>and Joan Ryan <\/strong>have\u00a0defected from the Labour Party to form The Independent Group.<\/p>\n

Anna Soubry, Heidi Allen <\/strong>and Sarah Wollaston <\/strong>have\u00a0left the Conservative Party to sit with The Independent Group.<\/p>\n
