as Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mel Stride<\/strong> was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/people\/mel-stride\">appointed<\/a> as the new Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesse Norman <\/strong>has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/people\/jesse-norman\">replaced<\/a> <strong>Mel Stride<\/strong> as Paymaster General and Financial Secretary to the Treasury.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Ellis<\/strong> has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/people\/michael-ellis\">replaced<\/a> <strong>Jesse Norman<\/strong> as Minister of State for the Department of Transport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Pow <\/strong>has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/people\/rebecca-pow\">replaced<\/a> <strong>Michael Ellis<\/strong> as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lady Rachael Robathan<\/strong> and <strong>Natalie Campbell<\/strong> have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/lady-rachael-robathan-and-natalie-campbell-reappointed-as-trustees-to-the-national-lottery-community-fund-board?utm_source=0f4eeb6d-0223-4177-bb21-fa70169c2556&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&amp;utm_content=immediate\">reappointed<\/a> to the National Lottery Community Fund board for four years from 1 June 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Briscall<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/esfa-appoints-new-director\">appointed<\/a> as the Customer Experience, Digital and Data Director, due to start in September.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harry Bain<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/harry-bain-reappointed-as-a-trustee-on-the-treasure-valuation-committee-board\">reappointed<\/a> as a trustee for five years, starting from 22 September.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jonathan Hall QC<\/strong> was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/independent-reviewer-of-terrorism-legislation-appointed\">appointed<\/a> as the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rita French<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/jeremy-hunt-appoints-roving-human-rights-ambassador-to-champion-human-rights-across-the-globe\">announced<\/a> as the Foreign Secretary\u2019s International Ambassador for Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Brodie<\/strong> is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk\/new-ceo-appointed-nhsbsa\">take-over<\/a> as CEO of Business Services Authority from <strong>Alistair McDonald<\/strong> this summer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sir Craig Mackey<\/strong>, <strong>Andy Cooper<\/strong>, <strong>Graham Evans<\/strong> and <strong>Kenna Kintrea<\/strong> have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/new-appointees-to-british-transport-police-authority-board\">appointed<\/a> to the British transport Authority Board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alison Morgan QC<\/strong> and <strong>William Emlyn Jones<\/strong> were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/attorney-general-appoints-new-senior-treasury-counsel\">appointed<\/a> to the Attorney General\u2019s Senior Treasury Council, for three years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gareth Wilson<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/new-ministry-of-defence-police-deputy-chief-constable-takes-up-post\">begins<\/a> his role as Deputy Chief Constable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clare Hollingsworth<\/strong> and <strong>Andrew Duff<\/strong> were both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/ukgi-appoints-new-non-executive-directors\">appointed<\/a> to the board of the UK Government Investment Ltd, Hollingworth begins her role immediately and Duff begins in April. <strong>Simon Paley<\/strong> will be stepping down in May.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-122622 alignnone\" non-affiliated.<\/p>\n<p>A new House of Lords Committee, Conduct Committee, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parliament.uk\/business\/committees\/committees-a-z\/lords-select\/conduct-committee\/\">created<\/a>. <strong>Lord Mance<\/strong> was appointed as Char and members include, <strong>Baroness Anelay of St Johns<\/strong>, <strong>Lord Brown of Eaton-under-Heywood<\/strong>, <strong>Baroness Donaghy<\/strong> and <strong>Baroness Hussein-Ece<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lord
