Johnson, who said the UK gave the EU \u00a3350m a week has been accused of misconduct in public office. The review calls for the current cap on university tuition fees in England to be reduced from \u00a39,250 to \u00a37,500 a year. Corbyn, who is today on a visit to Dublin to meet with Irish taoiseach Leo Varadkar, said his party would \u2018do whatever is necessary to stop a disastrous no-deal outcome\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Government has spent \u00a397m on Brexit advisers<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>The Guardian<\/em> reports that according to a leaked National Audit Office draft report, the UK Government has spent \u00a397m of public money on private consultants to advise on Brexit, including no-deal planning. The report criticises Government departments for failing to comply to transparency standards. The paper warns the costs could reach \u00a3240m by 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Esther McVey sets out her vision for leadership<br \/>\n<\/strong>The <em>Daily Express<\/em> has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/politics\/1133642\/brexit-news-tory-leadership-campaign-esther-mcvey?utm_campaign=Political%20Services%20Publications%202019&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_f09P3js4LA6Jtrr9akLfZbVuhe6vjRNjEdt30OoPr8pTTwQUpKUHZMeFU0nVuoTYtvNhG\">published<\/a>\u00a0an article written by Conservative leadership candidate Esther McVey on her vision for the UK. McVey says that a decade of police cuts has \u2018broken\u2019 the relationship between the Tories and police officers and that she wants funding for a new police covenant. She also says that more money needs to be spent on education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EU market regulator scraps plans for no-deal block on UK stocks<br \/>\n<\/strong>The <em>Financial Times<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/cb4be494-81df-11e9-9935-ad75bb96c849?utm_campaign=Political%20Services%20Publications%202019&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_f09P3js4LA6Jtrr9akLfZbVuhe6vjRNjEdt30OoPr8pTTwQUpKUHZMeFU0nVuoTYtvNhG\">reports<\/a>\u00a0that the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has dropped plans to prevent EU banks and investors from trading some of the UK&#8217;s largest listed companies in London in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
