Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Whitty<\/strong> is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nihr.ac.uk\/news\/chris-whitty-appointed-chief-medical-officer\/12150\">replace<\/a> <strong>Sally Davies<\/strong> as Chief Medical Officer for England and the UK government\u2019s Chief Medical Adviser, in October 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharon Witherspoon<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/reappointment-to-the-review-body-on-senior-salaries\">re-appointed<\/a> as a member of the Senior Salaries Review Body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharan White <\/strong>is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\/about-ofcom\/latest\/media\/media-releases\/2019\/sharon-white-steps-down-as-ofcom-chief-executive\">step-down<\/a> as the Chief Executive of the Office of Communications at the end of 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Martin<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/paul-martin-reappointed-as-a-board-member-for-the-charity-commission-board\">re-appointed<\/a> to the Board of the Charity Commission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kumar Iyer<\/strong> is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/kumar-iyer-appointed-new-foreign-office-chief-economist\">become<\/a> the Chief Economist in July 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Owen Jenkins<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/change-of-her-majestys-ambassador-to-indonesia-july-2019\">appointed<\/a> as Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and non-resident Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Karen Bell<\/strong> was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/change-of-british-high-commissioner-to-vanuatu-summer-2019\">appointed<\/a> as the High Commissioner to the Republic of Vanuatu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rebecca Lawrence<\/strong> is set to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cps.gov.uk\/cps\/news\/rebecca-lawrence-appointed-next-cps-chief-executive\">become<\/a> the Chief Executive of the Crown Prosecution service in September 2019, she will replace <strong>Paul Staff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Castle<\/strong> has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/new-official-solicitor-and-public-trustee-appointed?utm_source=9623cf79-842e-4a64-8431-766550a89df0&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&amp;utm_content=immediate\">appointed<\/a> as the Official Solicitor and Public Trustee (OSPT).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jake Berry<\/strong> has been confirmed as part of a new joint ministerial <a as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicholas Abbot<\/strong> has been <a
