\"ImageUK Government\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mark Field<\/strong> was suspended<\/a> as Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific on 21 June while an investigation takes place following an altercation between him and a protester on 20 June.<\/p>\n

Jacqueline Perkins<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n

Judith Gough<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden.<\/p>\n

Tamara Finkelstein<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as Permanent Secretary at Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, previously she held this role on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

Amelia Fawcett<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew Board.<\/p>\n

Jana Bennett<\/strong>, Delroy Beverley<\/strong>, Laela Pakpour-Tabrizi<\/strong>, Jeremy Silver<\/strong> and Wei Yang<\/strong> have all been named<\/a> as Trustees for the British Library Board.<\/p>\n

Simon Gass<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as the Chair of the Joint Intelligence Committee, previously he held this role on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

Thalia Baldwin<\/strong> is set to become<\/a> the Director of the Geospatial Commission on 1 August 2019.<\/p>\n

Alison Pritchard<\/strong> is set to become<\/a> interim Director-General of Government Digital Service, replacing Kevin Cunnington<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kevin Cunnington<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the first Director-General of the International Government Service.<\/p>\n

Geraldine McGahey<\/strong> is set to become<\/a> the new Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Neil Anderson<\/strong>, June Best<\/strong>, Theresa Donaldson<\/strong>, Hazel Francey<\/strong>, Stephen Mathews<\/strong>, Joe McVey<\/strong>, Dawn Purvis<\/strong> and Katy Radford<\/strong> will all become<\/a> Commissioners of the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Michael Walker<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the independent expert on the Committee on Toxicity, within the Food Standards Agency.<\/p>\n

David William McCorkell<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as Her Majesty\u2019s Lord-Lieutenant for County Antrim.<\/p>\n

Dame Angela McLean<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> at the Ministry of Defence\u2019s Chief Scientific Adviser.<\/p>\n

Eric Robinson<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the Chief Executive Officer of the Disclosure and Barring Service.<\/p>\n

Very Reverend Dr David Michael Hoyle MA PhD<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the Dean of the Collegiate Church of St Peter in Westminster.<\/p>\n

Michelle Macleod<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC), and is set to begin this role on 17 August 2019.<\/p>\n

Malcolm Wright<\/strong> appointed<\/a> as Chief Executive of NHS Scotland and Director General of Health and Social Care, previously holding the role on an interim basis.<\/p>\n

Professor Richard Parry-Jones CBE<\/strong> will Chair<\/a> the Taskforce to support Ford workers as Ford is set to close their operation in Bridgend from Autumn 2020, the Taskforce will meet on 1 July 2019 for the first time.<\/p>\n

Chris Davies<\/strong> was removed<\/a> as the MP for Brecon and Radnorshire as a recall petition was held, a by-election will be held soon.<\/p>\n

Jack Sargeant<\/strong> and Michelle Brown<\/strong> appointed<\/a> as members of the Petitions Committee, Mike Hedges<\/strong> is no longer a member.<\/p>\n

Carwyn Jones<\/strong> and John Griffiths<\/strong> became members of the Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee and Jayne Bryant<\/strong>, Vikki Howells<\/strong> and Rhianon Passmore<\/strong> are no longer members.<\/p>\n

Dawn Bowden<\/strong> became<\/a> a member of the Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee, Carwyn Jones<\/strong>, Jenny Rathbone<\/strong> and Mohammad Asghar<\/strong> are no longer members.<\/p>\n

Mohammad Asghar<\/strong> was appointed as member of the Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee, Jack Sargeant<\/strong> was removed as a member.<\/p>\n

Joyce Watson<\/strong> was removed<\/a> as a member of the External Affairs and Additional Legislation Committee.<\/p>\n

Jack Sargeant<\/strong> was removed<\/a> as member of the Children, Young People and Education Committee.<\/p>\n

Neil Hamilton<\/strong> appointed as a member of the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee, John Griffiths<\/strong> and Dai Lloyd<\/strong> were removed as members.<\/p>\n

Dawn Bowden<\/strong> was removed<\/a> as a member of the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee.<\/p>\n

Gareth Bennett<\/strong> was appointed as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.<\/p>\n

Janet Finch-Saunders<\/strong> became a member of the Chairs\u2019 Forum, replacing David J Rowlands<\/strong> as a member.<\/p>\n

Dominic Raab<\/strong> was eliminated<\/a> in the second round of the Conservative Party leadership contest on 18 June 2019.<\/p>\n

Rory Stewart<\/strong> was eliminated<\/a> in the third round of the Conservative Party leadership contest on 19 June 2019.<\/p>\n

Sajid Javid<\/strong> was eliminated<\/a> from the fourth round of the Conservative Party leadership contest on 20 June 2019.<\/p>\n

Michael Gove<\/strong> was eliminated<\/a> from the fifth round of the Conservative Party leadership contest on 20 June, which means that Boris Johnson<\/strong> and Jeremy Hunt<\/strong> will go head-to-head to compete for the position of Prime Minister.<\/p>\n
