Julie Kirkbride<\/strong>, Hamid Patel CBE<\/strong>, Martin Spencer<\/strong>, Carole Stott MBE<\/strong>, Baroness Laura Wyld <\/strong>have all been appointed<\/a> as the non-executive board members of the Ofsted Board.<\/p>\n

Gordon Kenneth Stephen Leckie<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as Her Majesty\u2019s Lord-Lieutenant for Perth and Kinross.<\/p>\n

Simon Dingemans<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the new Chair of Financial Reporting Council, and will begin this position in Autumn 2019.<\/p>\n

Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as Chair to the Office for Tackling Injustices.<\/p>\n

Imam Qari Asim MBE<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as an independent adviser to help tackle Islamophobia.<\/p>\n

Professor Martin Barstow<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as Chair of the Science Programme Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n

Susan Hoyle<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as a Lay Commissioner to the Judicial Appointments Commission, she will hold this post from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2022.<\/p>\n

Catherine Addy<\/strong> has been re-appointed<\/a> as a barrister member to the Insolvency Rules Committee for a 3 year period.<\/p>\n

David Leibowitz<\/strong> was appointed<\/a> as a practicing solicitor member to the Insolvency Rules Committee for a period of 3 years.<\/p>\n

Tim Flesher CB<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the Chair of the Prison Service Pay Review Body 3 years.<\/p>\n

The Rt Hon Lord Reed<\/strong> has been appointed<\/a> as the President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, succeeding Baroness Hale of Richmond<\/strong>. He will begin this role on 11 January 2020.<\/p>\n

Lord Justice Hamblen<\/strong>, Lord Justice Leggatt<\/strong> and Professor Andrew Burrows<\/strong> were all appointed<\/a> as Justices, and will join the Supreme Court on 13 January, 21 April and 2 June 2020 respectively.<\/p>\n
