Smith was sitting as an Independent MP before the announcement she has previously sat for Labour and Change UK in the seat. Smith has been MP for the seat since 2010.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luciana Berger<\/strong> \u2013 elected as Labour, sitting as an independent \u2013 has <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lucianaberger\/status\/1169551188016152576\">joined<\/a> the Liberal Democrats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phillip Lee<\/strong> has left the Conservative Party and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-politics-49570682\">joined<\/a> the Lib Dems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Mann<\/strong>, the Labour MP for Bassetlaw, has <a
