The Queen is pleased to appoint Ms Elizabeth Elaine Grieve<\/strong> as Her Majesty\u2019s twenty-first Lord-Lieutenant for Orkney.<\/p>\n

Major<\/strong> General Monro<\/strong> appointed as Lord-Lieutenant for Moray.<\/p>\n

Strategic Command – Ian Smith<\/strong> and Matthew Postgate<\/strong> appointed as Non-Executive Directors.<\/p>\n

Scientific Advisory Board of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons – Norman Govan<\/strong> appointed to the board.<\/p>\n

David Seymour<\/strong> named as Independent Reviewer for the Northern Ireland Office.<\/p>\n

Northern Ireland Committee on Protection – Brian Barker<\/strong> reappointed as Independent Reviewer of National Security Arrangements and Chair of the Northern Ireland Committee on Protection.<\/p>\n

Bridget Brind<\/strong> has been appointed Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.<\/p>\n

Thorhilda Abbott<\/strong> has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Tonga.<\/p>\n

Professor<\/strong> Andrew Wathey<\/strong> CBE appointed interim Chair of the Student Loans Company<\/p>\n

Marine Management Organisation \u2013 Terence Delahunty<\/strong> and Tony Jagger<\/strong> reappointed to the board.<\/p>\n

Migration Advisory Committee – Alan Manning<\/strong> has his term as Chair extended.<\/p>\n

Phillip King<\/strong> has been appointed interim Small Business Commissioner.<\/p>\n

Environment Secretary Theresa Villiers has today confirmed Sir<\/strong> William Worsley<\/strong> as the new Chair of Forestry Commission.<\/p>\n

Dr Noman Govan<\/strong> has been appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).<\/p>\n

The Queen has approved the appointment of Rt Hon<\/strong> Lord Hodge<\/strong> as Deputy President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

David Goldstone<\/strong> to stand down as Chief Operating Officer for the Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n
