Starcount\u00a0has announced that YouTube vlogger\u00a0 Ray William Johnson<\/a>\u00a0has reached two billion views on his main channel (RayWilliamJohnson<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The starcount all time number one\u00a0social media star\u00a0shot to YouTube fame with shows such as Equals Three, which compiles the funniest viral videos with Ray\u2019s witty commentary. He has attracted over 5.7 million subscribers to his channel \u2013 more than any other person in the world.<\/p>\n

The top 10 most viewed channels on YouTube comprises mainly of global popstars, with Justin Bieber<\/a>\u00a0(JustinBieberVEVO) the first person to reach the two billion landmark in October 2011.\u00a0Rihanna<\/a>\u00a0(RihannaVEVO) is close behind Bieber with over 2.7 billion views on her channel, followed by\u00a0Lady Gaga<\/a>\u00a0who was overtaken by Rihanna back in January.<\/p>\n

Ray William Johnson is the first YouTube vlogger to hit the 2 billion mark, paving the way for others – like his closest competitor,\u00a0Smosh<\/a>\u00a0– to follow suit. It is a terrific achievement for someone that began by filming on his own in a tiny room.<\/p>\n
