Dame Christine Ryan<\/strong> appointed next chair of Ofsted. She replaces Professor Julius Weinberg<\/strong> and will take up her new role at Ofsted from 1 August 2020.<\/p>\n

Dr Catherine McClellan<\/strong> has joined Ofqual\u2019s Board, with effect from 1 June 2020.<\/p>\n

Rear Admiral Peter Sparkes<\/strong>, the current UK National Hydrographer and Deputy Chief Executive, has been appointed to the position of Acting Chief Executive and Accounting Officer at the UK Hydrographic Office. He will replace Tim Lowe CBE<\/strong> who is retiring.<\/p>\n

Sandra Wallace <\/strong>and Steven Cooper<\/strong> have been appointed as interim chairs of the Social Mobility Commission.<\/p>\n

Richard Irvine<\/strong> has been named as the new Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer (DCVO) for the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

David Concar<\/strong> has been appointed British High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania in succession to Sarah Cooke<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
