{"id":131942,"date":"2020-08-20T10:43:23","date_gmt":"2020-08-20T09:43:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/?p=131942"},"modified":"2020-08-24T15:40:50","modified_gmt":"2020-08-24T14:40:50","slug":"prca-launches-drive-to-highlight-social-impact-suppliers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/prca-launches-drive-to-highlight-social-impact-suppliers\/","title":{"rendered":"PRCA launches drive to highlight social impact suppliers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The PRCA is inviting charities, social enterprises and community businesses to apply to join a supplier directory launched to highlight positive social impacts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Relevant organisations offering services and products for PR and communications agencies can <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/EEiN2iR7PLRwq8u56\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">apply online<\/a> to have their credentials assessed by the PRCA Council. The Directory is due to be finalised by the end of this year, with applications closing on Friday 18 September.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The social impact of PR is hugely important, but hardly talked about,\u2019 said PRCA Director General Francis Ingham of the need for the Directory launch. \u2018From the impact of campaigns on target audiences to hiring more PR apprentices and encouraging workforce diversity, the communications industry can have a hugely positive role to play in the world.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>CharityComms\u2019 Head of Membership Sarah Clarke also sees this initiative as another way the PR and communications industry can make a difference:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The charity and non-profit sector offers a wide range of services, such as venue hire or courses and training on everything from team building and mental health first aid to diversity and digital skills.
