{"id":132152,"date":"2020-09-04T11:41:53","date_gmt":"2020-09-04T10:41:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/?p=132152"},"modified":"2020-09-04T11:41:53","modified_gmt":"2020-09-04T10:41:53","slug":"cipr-to-support-members-effected-by-covid-19-with-employability-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/cipr-to-support-members-effected-by-covid-19-with-employability-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"CIPR to support members effected by COVID-19 with Employability Hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CIPR has launched its Employability Hub in an effort to support members who have lost their job or are at risk of redundancy during the coronavirus outbreak.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hub will host webinars, skill guides and resources from third parties with advice for online interviews, improving LinkedIn profiles and finding employment. A video series covering the topics of \u2018Coping with Redundancy\u2019, \u2018CVs and Interviews\u2019, \u2018Personal Branding\u2019, \u2018Mental Health\u2019, and \u2018Going Independent\u2019 will feature presenters including CIPR Talent Partner Rohan Shah and Another Door\u2019s Eleanor Tweddell.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the Hub is the latest in a series of CIPR initiates to support its members during the pandemic, including its confirmation of the availability of three-month payment breaks for members who have been made redundant, varying depending on years of membership.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In our recent COVID-19 member survey, just under half of respondents said they are looking for a job now or plan to in the near future,\u2019 said CIPR President Jenni Field. \u2018The Employability Hub is in response to this survey and feedback from members that they would like help to improve their employability.
