{"id":135266,"date":"2021-04-28T13:04:34","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T12:04:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/?p=135266"},"modified":"2021-04-28T13:04:34","modified_gmt":"2021-04-28T12:04:34","slug":"more-innovation-to-come-in-q2-according-to-latest-pr-business-tracker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/more-innovation-to-come-in-q2-according-to-latest-pr-business-tracker\/","title":{"rendered":"More innovation to come in Q2 according to latest PR business tracker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The second set of results from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cartacomms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carta Communications<\/a>\u2019 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepulsebusiness.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Pulse Business<\/a>\u2019 quarterly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/mental-health-and-motivation-are-the-biggest-threats-to-the-uk-pr-industry-according-to-pr-and-communications-tracker\/?fbclid=IwAR1cSg7YAzj48keVwOF4kvC6wTuXvxR9fPpZEPe6zY-j9_VTTpRpkRhABv4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PR and Communications Tracker<\/a> show an increase in optimism among PR leaders for Q2. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reinventions of approach and services is one of the biggest trends in the latest survey of in-house PR leaders, which found that 45% have made \u2018significant changes\u2019 and a further 41% have made \u2018some changes\u2019 to the way they operate since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>A third (32%) of respondents reported feeling \u2018very positive\u2019 about the future of their business over the next year, with another 58% feeling \u2018quite positive\u2019. Only 24% had felt \u2018very positive\u2019 and 63% \u2018quite positive\u2019 at the start of the previous quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Carta Communications founder and director Matt Cartmell said: \u2018Our industry has now embraced what I call \u2018perma-pivot\u2019, in which any sense of stasis has been banished with leaders forever finding new ways to deliver their storytelling and reputation management capabilities.
