{"id":136499,"date":"2021-09-20T09:13:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T08:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/?p=136499"},"modified":"2021-09-20T09:13:18","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T08:13:18","slug":"the-prca-launches-its-global-advisory-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/the-prca-launches-its-global-advisory-board\/","title":{"rendered":"The PRCA launches its Global Advisory Board"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has confirmed the formation of its Global Advisory Board to expand the Association\u2019s international support of PR professionals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Global Advisory Board is made up of internationally recognised PR leaders who will work alongside the PRCA\u2019s International Director to expand PRCA operations in emerging PR markets.<\/p>\n<p>The PRCA currently operates in 70 countries across the world with members in locations including Argentina, Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the UAE, the UK, the US and Vietnam. The association will also continue to manage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/blog\/the-prca-teams-up-with-the-ethics-and-compliance-initiative-eci\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the global network of PR associations ICCO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Inaugural Board members are:<\/p>\n<p>Ahmad Itani, Cicero &amp; Bernay Communications\u2019 Consultancy founder and CEO<br \/>\nAlison Clarke, Alison Clarke Consulting founder<br \/>\nElena Fadeeva, FleishmanHillard Vanguard\u2019s founder and general director<br \/>\nFred Cook, Golin\u2019s chairman emeritus and director of the Annenberg Center for Public Relations<br \/>\nGustavo Averbuj, Ketchum\u2019s partner and regional director Latam<br \/>\nIsrael Opayemi, Chain Reactions Nigeria\u2019s managing director\/chief strategist<br \/>\nJim Donaldson, FleishmanHillard UK and Middle East\u2019s CEO<br \/>\nJordan Rittenberry, Edelman Middle East and Africa\u2019s chairman<br \/>\nLee Nugent, Archetype regional director APAC<br \/>\nMary Beth West, Fletcher Marketing PR\u2019s senior strategist<br \/>\nNitin Mantri, Avian WE\u2019s group CEO and ICCO president<br \/>\nOmar Qirem, Edelman Middle East CEO<br \/>\nRachel Friend, W Communications CEO<\/p>\n<p>\u2018As the world\u2019s largest PR body, our mission is simple &#8211; to raise standards all across the industry, all around the world,\u2019 said PRCA director general Francis Ingham of the board\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We want every PR professional to enjoy access to world-class support and representation.
