Often even attracting non-betting people to have a flutter, the racing horses\u2019 odds are closely watched and tips are sought by many.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oddschecker.com\/horse-racing-betting\/2013-04-06-aintree\/16:15\/winner\" title=\"Odds Checker Grand National\" target=\"_blank\">current favourites<\/a> with the best odds (which are likely to change as the race draws nearer) are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>On His Own \u2013 8\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Seabass \u2013 10\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Colbert Station \u2013 11\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Cappa Bleu \u2013 12\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Chicago Grey \u2013 14\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Imperial Commander \u2013 16\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Teaforthree \u2013 16\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Balthazar King \u2013 20\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>BallaBriggs \u2013 20\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Join Together \u2013 20\/1<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">With the Grand National such an unpredictable race, we decided to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/products-and-services\/social-media-monitoring\/\" title=\"Cision Social Media\" target=\"_blank\">Cision Social Media<\/a> to see which the people\u2019s favourites were. The following results paint a different picture to the bookies\u2019 odds, and we\u2019re dubbing it the Social Grand National (<strong>Click to Enlarge<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Grand-National2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Grand-National2-800x384.png\" alt=\"The Social Grand National\" title=\"The Grand National on Social Media\" width=\"451\" height=\"217\" class=\"wp-image-28294 aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Should social media&#8217;s favourite Seabass win, it will herald the first female jockey victory in the history of the National \u2013\u00a0a possible explanation for all the social media mentions. Should Chicago Grey seal the win, it will be only the fourth grey to win ever (though the last grey won in 2012).<\/p>\n<p>Rare Bob has done very well to make it so high with current odds of 25\/1. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With Cision&#8217;s office sweepstake already taken place, there is little hope, it seems, for my horse Weird Al. But it\u2019s the Grand National \u2013 anything could happen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><em>All data was correct at 15.15.
