\"AnWhy should people read your blog?<\/span>
<\/b>Awesome Games has been diligently covering video games since August 2011. I started Awesome Games with one intention: to share my passion and knowledge of games with other like-minded individuals. The site features over 1000 pieces of honest, opinionated, unique and well-informed content, crafted with love and care for gamers around the world.<\/p>\n

Personally, I\u2019ve been gaming since an early age, growing up on a staple diet of Nintendo and Sega, watching the industry grow from humble beginnings into the goliath it is today. Having owned and played every console in my lifetime, I firmly believe that I am well placed to provide a valued opinion to those looking to discover or continue to enjoy this wonderful medium.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite blog and why?<\/span>
<\/b>My favourite blog is surprisingly not video game related. As someone who has always had a fond interest in Japanese culture, I love reading Tofugu.com<\/a>. Their posts are fun, informative and intriguing to someone who is interested in learning more about Japan.<\/p>\n

How often do you aim to post?<\/span>
<\/b>Awesome Games is updated Monday to Friday with new content. The amount of posts per day varies greatly depending on what\u2019s happening in the industry at that time. I used to publish content on a weekend, but I decided to let readers use their free time to catch up with any stories or posts they may have missed during the week.<\/p>\n

How do you feel about guests posts?<\/span>
<\/b>Guest posts are a bit of a sticky subject. My inbox is constantly hammered by various people claiming they can provide fantastic guest posts, tailored for Awesome Games\u2019 audience and subject matter. Sadly, the majority of enquiries are nothing more than time wasters, link builders and people hoping to push their products. It\u2019s a real shame because it drowns out the genuine applicants who might be able to provide an excellent guest post for the site.<\/p>\n

How does a good PR work with you?<\/span>
<\/b>A good PR is someone who can communicate quickly, can follow up if necessary and is responsive to my needs. It\u2019s that simple.<\/p>\n

What do PRs do that\u2019s bad?<\/span>
<\/b>Generic PR emails. If I\u2019ve been added to a database, or taken the time to respond to an enquiry, please do not add me to a daily or weekly email which has absolutely nothing to do with my field! Also, PRs who ignore or are noticeably slow to respond to emails cause a lot of problems in my industry, where timeliness and organisation is the key to dealing and capitalising on my workload.<\/p>\n
