With such a highly anticipated finale, the internet has come out in force to discuss both the last episode \u2018Felina\u2019 and less directly-related points. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On social media, the television programme peaked with over one million tweets during the US airing. Reflecting <a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2013\/tv\/news\/breaking-bad-finale-ratings-1200681920\/\">the ratings<\/a>, the finale pulled in nearly three times the number of tweets it managed at any one time in the last month.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vuelio.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Breaking-Bad-SM-800x236.png\" alt=\"social media measurement of Felina Breaking Bad Finale\" width=\"640\" height=\"188\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-44410\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The BBC put together a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/entertainment-arts-24328751\" title=\"BBC Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">collection of reviews of the final episode<\/a>, so I\u2019ve chosen to focus on the alternative articles that you may have missed. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/whatculture.com\/tv\/breaking-bad-ending-6-unanswered-questions-plot-holes.php\/1\" title=\"WhatCulture! Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">WhatCulture!<\/a> has posed six unanswered questions ranging from \u2018What became of Saul\u2019 to \u2018Why did Walt leave Gray Matter\u2019. While it says the finale didn\u2019t disappoint, it takes issue with the amount of loose ends which now can now never be resolved. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/tv-and-radio\/tvandradioblog\/2013\/sep\/30\/vince-gilligan-breaking-bad-finale-felina\" title=\"Guardian Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">The Guardian<\/a> has cherry-picked the Talking Bad fan show for quotes from Vince Gilligan. The article suggests there were no loose ends and discusses Walt\u2019s decision not to kill Jesse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ft.com\/the-world\/2013\/09\/breaking-bad-and-the-global-meth-trade-five-facts-to-drop-at-your-next-dinner-party\/?\" title=\"Financial Times Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">Financial Times<\/a> has chosen a rather different tack and published, \u2018Breaking Bad and the global meth trade: Five facts to drop at your next dinner party\u2019. Facts include: \u2018North America dominates the world of methamphetamine. And those Mexican cartels are indeed hard at work\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.prospectmagazine.co.uk\/art-books\/in-praise-of-breaking-bad-and-the-golden-age\/#.UkqjuIaa4QE\" title=\"Prospect Magazine Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">Prospect magazine<\/a> draws parallels between Walter White and modern America, suggesting the show is a mix of \u2018violence, moral complexity and the underlying politics of gender and modern America\u2019. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/n3\/304315-ricin-in-breaking-bad-some-facts-about-the-poison-spoiler-alert\/\" title=\"Epoch Times Breaking Bad\" target=\"_blank\">Epoch Times<\/a> put together a list of facts about Ricin, which was the downfall of Lydia (oh Lydia, the encyclopaedia\u2026).
