Senior Editor Matt Mason, who has been working closely with Bauer\u2019s Executive Content Director Jane Johnson in leading the Q editorial team, will continue to run the day-to-day on the magazine and will now report to Phil.<\/p>\n
Phil\u2019s appointment also marks the development of a senior music content team consisting of Q Senior Editor MattPhil Alexander \u00a0Mason, MOJO Senior Editor Danny Eccleston and Kerrang! Editor James McMahon. This team will work to reinforce Bauer\u2019s position as the dominant publisher in the UK music market.<\/p>\n

The three brands are the crown jewels of UK music publishing and we believe that there are a large number of opportunities for all three,\u201c says Phil.\u00a0 \u201cOur aim is to examine these and to ensure that we are making new things for audiences that truly love music.\u201c<\/p>\n
Phil and the team will also ensure that Bauer\u2019s portfolio of music magazines collaborates with the company\u2019s influential portfolio of rock radio stations which includes Absolute, Planet Rock and Kerrang! Radio.<\/p>\n

Bauer\u2019s senior content team will offer more effective content and commercial solutions for artists, labels and clients across its entire music magazine porfolio which remains unmatched in the UK publishing industry, both in terms of reach and market-leading positions.<\/p>\n
