Alison Phillips, <\/b>the Sunday Mirror\u2019s editor, is expected to take overall responsibility for editing the two titles, the Guardian reported<\/li>\n<li><b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/home\/index.html\">MailOnline<\/a> <\/b>has appointed <b>Stewart Jackson<\/b> as assistant editor. He was previously deputy news editor at <b>The Daily Telegraph<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Mark Leslie <\/b>has been appointed acting editor of<b> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lynnnews.co.uk\/\">Lynn News<\/a> <\/b>and<b> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lynnnews.co.uk\/news\/local\/downham\">Downham News<\/a><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>James Robinson<\/b> has joined the <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.andoveradvertiser.co.uk\/\">Andover Advertiser<\/a><\/b> as a reporter, he confirmed via Twitter<\/li>\n<li><b>Steve Leary<\/b> has announced his retirement as editor of the <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sthelensstar.co.uk\/\">St Helens Star<\/a><\/b> after 40 years at the newspaper.
