Why should people read your blog? What makes it different?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>I’m a normal working mum who loves cooking and baking but like so many other families, I have to do it on a pretty limited budget. My blog has a wide variety of recipes – there is really something for everyone – from low cost family meals, simple home baking or fancy desserts for when you’re looking for a recipe to really impress.<\/p>\n

How do you measure the success of your website?<\/strong>\u00a0By how much traffic a certain post generates – I check my stats on a daily basis<\/div>\n
What’s your favourite blog and why?<\/strong>\u00a0I love Recipes from a normal Mum by Holly Bell. \u00a0Her recipes are tasty but simple, and not too expensive to make!<\/div>\n
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a blog?\u00a0<\/strong>I would tell them go for it! It might be slow to start with, but don’t be discouraged. \u00a0Share your posts on social media platforms like Twitter, Google+ and Facebook – this really helps you build your audience.<\/div>\n
How do you work with marketers and PRs?<\/strong>\u00a0I really enjoy reviewing cooking\/baking related products.<\/div>\n
Who do you work with in brand marketing? PRs? SEOs? Anyone else?<\/strong>\u00a0I’ve mainly worked with PRs and small companies directly. I’m open to any offers providing it fits in with the theme of my blog.<\/div>\n
What can marketers do better in working with you?<\/strong>\u00a0Basically just contact me and see how we can work together! I’ve never had any problems with marketers in the past.<\/div>\n
What was your blogging highlight of 2013?\u00a0<\/strong>Interviewing Ruth Clemens, AKA The Pink Whisk, finalist in The Great British Bake off series one.<\/div>\n
What will be big in your blogosphere in the coming months?<\/strong>\u00a0Lots of seasonal recipes and giveaways!<\/div>\n
