ITV<\/a><\/b> News has promoted Tim Singleton<\/b> to deputy editor, alongside his present duties as director of newsgathering. Currently responsible for all home and foreign newsgathering operations, Singleton will work closely with editor Geoff Hill<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/b>Business affairs editor\u00a0Zanny Minton Beddoes<\/strong>\u00a0has been appointed\u00a0editor of the\u00a0Economist<\/strong>. She succeeds\u00a0John\u00a0Micklethwait<\/strong>, who has held the role for nine years, The Guardian reported<\/p>\n

Sky News\u00a0<\/a>has appointed Kirsty Good as editor of its Business Unit.\u00a0She is joining Sky News from the BBC where she is currently assistant editor of the Economics & Business Unit at Media City<\/p>\n

Siobhan Kennedy<\/b> has been appointed business editor of Channel 4 News<\/b><\/a>. She has been the programme\u2019s business correspondent for six years and takes up the post immediately.<\/p>\n

Katie Bond<\/b> has left her role of news editor at Swindon Advertiser<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Sebastian Murphy-Bates<\/b> has been appointed reporter at Archant\u2019s<\/b><\/a> newspaper titles including Docklands & East London Advertiser, Newham Recorder <\/b>and Barking and Dagenham Post<\/b><\/p>\n

Amy Brookbanks <\/b>has been promoted to showbiz content editor at Now<\/b><\/a> magazine. She was previously acting showbiz editor<\/b><\/p>\n
