Wood & Luxe is fun adventure blog that makes you feel like you are there\u00a0experiencing\u00a0the adventure you are reading about. The tone of voice is upbeat but laid back and inspires readers to travel more and do more.<\/p>\n

How do you measure the success of your website?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Social engagement, blog views, website visits.<\/p>\n

What’s your favourite\u00a0blog\u00a0and why?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have so many it’s hard to nail it down to one. I love\u00a0Gary Pepper Vintage<\/a>\u00a0for her beautiful photography and the tone of voice on\u00a0A Modern Wayferer<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a\u00a0blog?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Find your niche, don’t procrastinate building it (it’s never going to be perfect – think of it as a work in progress) and be authentic with your stories.
\nHow do you work with marketers and PRs?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Partnerships, press trips & reviews and sponsored posts.<\/p>\n

Who do you work with in brand marketing? PRs? SEOs? Anyone else?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Directly with travel companies, PR’s, search companies and online publications<\/p>\n

Can you list five best practices for\u00a0blogger\u00a0outreach?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Identify your target audience<\/p>\n

2. Ensure they have\u00a0legitimate\u00a0and engaging followers<\/p>\n

3. Have all your ducks in a row before you approach a blogger<\/p>\n

4. Always\u00a0align\u00a0with bloggers that have similar brand values<\/p>\n

5. Sometimes bigger reach isn\u2019t always better.
