Vuelio UK in association with the Canterbury Christ Church University has published a study into the social media use among UK PR professionals.<\/p>\n
The inaugural piece of research, Social PR Study 2015<\/a><\/strong>, launches today, Tuesday 28 April, with the objective of exploring the impact social media technologies have on PR professionals\u2019 work.<\/p>\n The survey is the next move in Vuelio\u2019s continued commitment to tracking and highlighting the changes in content consumption and communication brought about by social media, and follows in the footsteps of our Social Journalism Study, the world\u2019s biggest and most academically rigorous analysis of journalists\u2019 social media practices, that is now in its fourth year.<\/p>\n The PR Study has been conducted to inform on best practices within the PR and communications by understanding the patterns of social media usage of PR professionals, the professional tasks they use social media for, their views on Social PR and the impact this has on the relationship with media professionals.<\/p>\n As part of the research, we have also compared the findings to that of the\u00a0Vuelio Social Journalism Study to deepen the industry\u2019s understanding of how PR professionals and journalists use and value social media and other resources.<\/p>\n
