One of the\u00a0claims made involved Cameron participating in a\u00a0bizarre act with a dead pig which went viral across social networks\u00a0with the hashtag #piggate dominating newsfeeds and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedrum.com\/news\/2015\/09\/21\/piggate-prompts-117300-pieces-social-content-wave-creativity-greets-david-cameron\" target=\"_blank\">prompting over 117,000 pieces<\/a> of content online.<\/p>\n<p>While fellow-politicians, journalists and the general public had a field day ripping into the hashtag, there were some brands too that were quick (and daring) to piggyback on the trending #Piggate.
