Leeds-born Em Sheldon started writing EMTALKS<\/a> in 2012 to share her love of fashion, beauty, fitness and travel. Why should people read your blog?<\/strong> What makes it different?<\/strong> <\/span>It\u2019s a mixture of fashion, beauty, fitness, travel and personal experiences. It\u2019s different because I open up about personal topics whilst drenching the blog with sun, lovely food and obviously fashion and beauty!<\/p>\n

How do you measure the success of your website?<\/strong><\/span> Audience engagement, it\u2019s great to talk to my lovely readers.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a blog?<\/strong><\/span> You are your niche – there\u2019s only one you!<\/p>\n

How do you work with marketers and PRs?<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Generally they email me and we start a relationship from there.<\/p>\n

How do you use social media to promote and share content? What are the challenges?<\/strong><\/span> I use all social channels to promote things, generally my blog. The challenges are that it\u2019s 24\/7 but it\u2019s great!<\/p>\n

What can PRs do in working better with you?<\/strong> <\/span>Understanding that work takes a lot of time!<\/p>\n
