Here is a quick 5-minute interview with\u00a0Michelle, author of the beauty blog\u00a0Luxe Life Aspirations<\/a> who chats to us about her love of skin care products, working with PRs, and where she would like to see her blog in a year from now.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Why did you decide to start blogging?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve always loved writing. I hurt my back quite badly a few years ago and so, while off work with more time on my hands I started a blog.\u00a0While mourning the dream career in Cirque du Soleil I’d now never fulfil.<\/p>\n

Why skincare and beauty?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I’m obsessed with skincare!\u00a0Honestly, my bathroom shelves rival those in Space NK.\u00a0I have quite oily skin and now that I’m in my 30s, I’m constantly trialling new products in the (elusive) quest for perfect skin.\u00a0The blog is the perfect outlet for this to share reviews, new launches and my experiences.<\/p>\n

Who or what inspires you?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I get a lot of inspiration from other bloggers.\u00a0I think it’s amazing to see how bloggers have grown their businesses and brands with cosmetic lines, book launches etc.\u00a0There are so many talented writers within the beauty blogging community.<\/p>\n

What is your pitch to PRs? How would you prefer to be contacted by them?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If PRs are looking to update their database\u00a0of beauty bloggers who tend to feature\u00a0high-end skincare and beauty products, I’m the blogger for that!\u00a0The best way for PRs to contact me is via email.\u00a0I ensure that my email address is visible on my blog and social media platforms, there is nothing worse than spending ages looking for contact details.<\/p>\n

Where would you like to see your blog in one year from now?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve really seen an increase in engagement over the last year and had the opportunity to work with some brands I truly love.\u00a0I’d like to continue to see organic growth while maintaining Luxe Life Aspirations’ integrity which is of utmost importance to me.<\/p>\n
