An initial meeting was held on 29<sup>th<\/sup> November, attended by members of Labour and the Conservatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Local Government<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cllr <strong>Bob Wellington<\/strong> CBE will stand down as leader of <strong>Torfaen council<\/strong> at the end of 2016.<\/li>\n<li>The Labour Party group in Torfaen are now conducting an election process. An interim leader of the council will be announced on <strong>13<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/strong>.
