Production company, USP Content has hired Darren Ryan as director of branded content. He will report to the CEO, Rob Jones, and will be responsible for overseeing and developing the company’s broadcast PR and marketing offering, confirmed Ryan.
He joins USP Content from broadcast agency, 4mediarelations where he served as the associate director and head of video content since November 2010. Ryan’s career spans over 13 years in the broadcast PR and marketing industry, with experience in companies such as Sound Creative, The Broadcasters, 2ergo Group and Markettiers4dc.
In the official announcement released by the company today, Ryan said: ‘At a time when the broadcast and PR landscape is changing, my focus will be to assist clients with placing relevant, clever and strategic coverage across all available broadcast platforms.’
The company’s CEO, Jones said: ‘We are delighted to sign Darren. He brings specialist knowledge and great experience to our senior management team. Together we will offer clients new benchmarks of excellence and innovation.’
