The Style Lane, a new online fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine, was founded by its editor Penny Lane.
Penny launched the site because she wanted to deliver an online magazine, specifically designed for women who love to consume snippets of fashion, beauty, travel and home style information. Penny said: “Busy women often don’t have the time to read reams and reams of copy or lengthy articles during the week, so The Style Lane is the perfect format for a speedy indulgence.”
After completing a degree in Fashion Journalism Penny undertook placements at various magazines including FHM, New Woman and Tatler. These underpinned Penny’s knowledge of the industry and furthered her love of styling, writing and editing.
Penny sees social media as imperative to promoting The Style Lane, gaining visitors and building a loyal following. She uses it daily to link to the latest content, communicate with PRs and gain new contacts.
Penny said: “I would obviously like to see the site grow and flourish, with women frequently bookmarking The Style Lane as their go to, style bible.”
